Opening Doors to a Brighter Financial FutureAAA Fair Credit Foundation (FCF) is a national ISO 9001:2000 certified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing financial counseling, financial education, debt management, and asset-building programs. Our mission is to help individuals and families experiencing financial distress restore financial balance by providing customized financial counseling services tailored to meet their specific needs. We serve to help consumers overcome the isolation many people feel when dealing with overwhelming financial burdens. Not only do our programs change lives and financial behaviors, they also help eliminate the outside distractions finances can cause.Credit & Debt Counseling Our Certified Credit Counselors provide a free personal comprehensive analysis of your financial situation. They will discuss a full range of options and strategies to consider for addressing your financial situation. These include a thorough written budget analysis, establishing debt management plans, providing financial literacy education resources, and more. Our Counselors will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each option and will make recommendations for which options are best suited to meet your individual needs, goals and circumstances. Financial Education & Personal Financial Coaching Through either our counselors or our ConsumerCents® financial education programs we will provide you with information or even coach you through major life events such as buying a home or car, avoiding foreclosure, dealing with identity theft, evaluating your credit score, dealing with potentially illegal harassing creditor calls, and much more. Debt Management Program & Automatic Bill Pay Through our debt management program we help people become debt-free. In most cases, our debt management program can even help reduce payments to many creditors enabling them to get out of debt quicker than they might have been able to do on their own. Individual Development Accounts (IDAs) & Asset BUilding FCF’s asset development program, the Utah Individual Development Account Network (UIDAN), is a multi-faceted financial education program designed to provide low-income families with the opportunity, incentive, and institutional support necessary for them to save for and acquire productive assets that promise a higher income, new wealth and self-sufficiency. The program matches $3 for every $1 saved by qualified participants which can then be used to toward college or vocational education, a first time home purchase, or small business capitalization. Workplace Financial Education & Community Outreach By providing people with access to financial literacy education, financial distress decreases and financial well-being improves. AAA Fair Credit Foundation's ConsumerCents® Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can be delivered on-site at your organization, at a time convenient to you and your staff. The same courses are available to churches, schools, and community groups in an effort to spread financial education and strengthen our society. | |||||
